Wednesday is Safari-Day! In der Morgendämmerung holt uns unser Safariguide ab und wir machen uns auf den Weg zum Nationalpark Tarangire. Die Landschaft spiegelt die Vorstellung des typischen Afrikas wieder – unendliche Weite, zahlreiche wilde Tiere und sonst nichts. Mit jedem weiterem Tier, das wir sehen, wächst auch unsere Euphorie, angefangen bei Affen bis hin zu Büffelherden, Löwen, Elefanten und Giraffen. Unser Führer freut sich, dass wir auch diese Schönheit seines Landes besuchen: „we have such a gifted country“. Die Bilder sprechen für sich!

Wednesday is Safari day! In the morning twilight our Safari guide picks us up and we head towards the National Park Tarangire. The landscape mirrors the typical image of Africa – never ending savanna, lots of wild animals an nothing else. With every animal we see, our amazement grows: monkeys, buffalos, lions, elephants and giraffes and many more.

Our guide is very happy that we also get to see this wonderful side of his country: “we have such a gifted country”. The pictures speak for themselves.
